Job summary

Aligra are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Class 1 Driver based in Magor. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay, and a supportive transport operation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and current CPC with Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle in line with road traffic laws and working time regulations.
• Complete trunking, trunk runs or general haulage deliveries as required by the client.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all paperwork, collections and deliveries are completed accurately.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with depot teams and customers.
• Adhering to all site procedures, load security requirements and health & safety standards.
• Communicating effectively with transport planners and site staff throughout your shift.

Education

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
