Job summary

Essential Access Platforms (Midlands) Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a full-time Class 1 Lorry Driver to transport access platforms and related equipment to customer sites. You will plan routes, perform pre- and post-trip checks, secure loads, and complete delivery paperwork while liaising with the transport office and site contacts.

Maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle, follow company safety procedures, and represent the business professionally when interacting with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, up-to-date Driver CPC and UK transport regs knowledge.
• Proven Class 1 vehicle experience with strong route planning and vehicle checks.
• Commitment to health and safety and safe equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Transport access platforms/equipment to/from customer sites.
• Plan routes and complete pre- and post-trip checks.
• Secure loads and complete delivery/collection paperwork.
• Liaise with transport office and site contacts; adapt to changing schedules.
• Maintain a clean, roadworthy vehicle and follow safety procedures.
