Extra Recruitment is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for the LE17 area, offering Sunday to Thursday work with a 19:00 start and ongoing, long-term hours.

You will drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, operate curtain-side and double-decker trailers, and perform trailer swaps, strap loads, and complete delivery paperwork. Weekly pay and pension available. This role requires experience and a strong safety focus. The employer provides weekly pay, a company pension scheme, and 28 days of holiday.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 3 years Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience operating curtain-side and double-decker trailers.
• Able to commit to Sunday-Thursday shifts with a 19:00 start.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
• Drive curtain-side and double-decker trailers.
• Complete trailer swaps as required.
• Secure loads safely using straps.
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
• Complete relevant delivery paperwork and records.
• Maintain a professional and reliable service at all times.
