Extra Recruitment in LE17 is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for ongoing Sunday-Thursday shifts with a 19:00 start. You will operate curtain-side and double-decker trailers, perform trailer swaps, and ensure loads are secured and documented properly.

The role offers long-term ongoing work with a competitive hourly rate and consistent weekly pay. Applicants should have a full UK Class 1 licence, CPC, tachograph card, and at least 3 years of relevant driving experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E).
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 3 years' Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience operating curtain-side and double-decker trailers.
• Able to commit to Sunday-Thursday shifts with a 19:00 start.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle.
• Drive curtain-side and double-decker trailers.
• Complete trailer swaps as required.
• Secure loads safely using straps.
• Carry out vehicle checks and ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
• Complete relevant delivery paperwork and records.
• Maintain a professional and reliable service at all times.
