Qualifications

• Class 1 driving experience of at least 6 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points, no DD/DR convictions.
• Ability to manage time and comply with road transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Report to the transport office at the start of shift.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Make professional deliveries to customers’ premises.

Job Details

Shift: Monday-Friday starting between 14:00 and 18:00.

Salary: £15.01 per hour (£14.01 basic + £1.00 Nights allowance).

Overtime: £21.01 per hour + £1.00 Nights Allowance.

Responsibilities:

1. Report to the transport office at the start of shift.
2. Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
3. Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including health, safety, and hygiene standards.
4. Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance.
5. Manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
6. Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
7. Complete daily vehicle checks as per company procedures.
8. Make professional deliveries to customers’ premises.
9. Report any issues with delivery times, delays, or load discrepancies immediately.
10. Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned.
11. Maintain regular communication with the Transport Office.
12. Follow site procedures at each delivery point.
13. Complete defect reports when necessary.
14. Perform any other duties as reasonably required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience.
• Full C+E entitlement, CPC, and Tacho Card.
• Experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• No more than 6 points, no DD/DR convictions.
• Knowledge of Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Ability to perform vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
