Job Description

Eddie Stobart is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team in Goole.

The role is based on a Tesco site in Goole and involves stores, RDCs, warehouse deliveries, and general haulage work. You will be using a variety of Tesco and ESL kit. This role may involve manual handling, drop and swaps, and trunking.

Shifts:

• Sunday-Thursday Nights - 15:00-23:00 start times
• Tuesday-Saturday Nights - 15:00-23:00 start times
• Monday-Friday Nights - 15:00-23:00 start times

• Mon-Fri Days - £14.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments)
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £15.80/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments)
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £17.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments)
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments)
• Bank Holidays - £18.31/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments)

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E licence, CPC, and Tacho Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence with no DD/DR code convictions
• Understand and comply with driver’s hours and WTD legislation
• Able to carry out vehicle checks to ensure safety and report defects correctly
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
