Job summary

Palletforce Logistics Sussex, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, TN38 9NB, is hiring a Class 1 Driver. You will operate Class 1 vehicles, perform daily checks, and log driving activity with a handheld terminal.

The role requires a Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, a Digital Tachograph Card and 12 months’ experience. Refrigeration and multi-drop experience are a bonus and you will work as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Valid CPC, Digital Tachograph Card.
• HGV/LGC Class licence with 12 months experience.
• Good communication skills, spoken and written.
• Ability to plan and organise workloads and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Use handheld terminal to record information accurately.
• Drive Class 1 vehicle and occasionally Class 2/3.5t during peak periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle and complete paperwork.
• Deliver goods to various locations and inform transport office of issues.
