Job summary

Palletforce Logistics in Erith is seeking a fully qualified Class 1 Driver to join our team. You will deliver goods to customers, drive safely, perform daily vehicle checks and keep the cab and paperwork in order.

Requirements include Class 1 Licence (C+E), valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus 12 months of licence experience. Refrigeration and multi-drop experience are beneficial. A £50 weekly bonus is offered along with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• HGV/LGV licence with 12 months experience is essential.
• Refrigeration and multi-drop experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Use of a handheld terminal to record accurate information.
• Occasionally driving class 2 and 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Driving Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Inform transport office of any problems promptly.
• Ensure you arrive on time and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Delivering goods to various locations.
