Job description

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers with a minimum of 6 months of experience for a well-established client based in Telford.

Job Description:

Type of work: Refrigerated units RDC to RDC deliveries and collections (loading and unloading of palletized goods). Steady year-round work with consistent shifts. Long hours: 12+ hour shifts. Shift availability: Days / Afternoons / Nights - shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Rates of Pay: PAYE.

Monday to Friday:

Days £15.50 / Nights £16.50 (with holiday pay including - Days £17.37 / Nights £18.49 per hour).

Saturday:

Days £18.50 / Nights £19.50 (with holiday pay including - Days £20.73 / Nights £21.85 per hour).

Sunday:

Days £19.50 / Nights £20.50 (with holiday pay including - Days £21.85 / Nights £22.97 per hour).

Additionally, for every hour worked between 14:00 and 20:59, drivers will receive an extra £1.30 added to their hourly rate.

Additional Information:

Assessment is required, lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Requirements:

1. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
2. A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
3. Refrigerated unit driving experience preferred.
4. Valid Driver's CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
5. No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.
