Job description

Class 1 Driver

HireGiant LTD are seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of general haulage goods to various locations across the UK on a HGV 1 truck. You will be working for a long standing, well established client based in Telford.

This particular company are well known locally, having operated in the area for over 20 years. This thriving national company focuses on all aspects of general haulage transportation to stores and RDC's across the UK.

The Role:

The Class 1 Driver will be required to work Monday to Friday. The work starts immediately and involves making 2-4 deliveries per day of palletised goods, using a tractor and trailer unit.

Requirements for this role for the Class 1 Driver:

1. CAT C+E entitlement on their licence
2. Valid Digital tacho & CPC Card
3. Safety Boots & Hi Viz Vest
4. HGV / LGV competent

Hours & Pay for the Class 1 Driver:

The start times are around between 06:00am & 07:00am ongoing Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate for this role is:

£15.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE

£16.75 per hours for Saturday PAYE
