Job summary

Pertemps Heathrow is seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join a busy Hatfield operation. The role includes store deliveries into London, trunking between depots and operating Class 1 vehicles.

Shifts run day and night, seven days a week with overtime at enhanced rates and immediate starts. Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, plus a minimum of six months’ Class 1 experience and a good knowledge of UK roads.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Able to work safely and meet delivery timescales.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries into London.
• Trunking between depots.
• Operating Class 1 vehicles.
• Some handball required.
• Completing deliveries safely and on time.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks.
• Following all relevant driving and company procedures.
