Job summary

HireGiant Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for ongoing day work in Grantham, Lincolnshire. The role offers full-time hours with potential permanent placement, delivering goods to DCs/RDCs and performing routine vehicle checks.

Shifts run days (08:00 start, 8–12 hour shifts) or nights (18:00 start) with optional weekend work. Requirements include Category C+E licence entitlement, a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card, and safety boots with a hi-visibility vest.

Qualifications

• Category C+E licence entitlement.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Safety boots and hi-visibility vest.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to DCs and RDCs.
• Trunking between two points or 2/3 drops per day.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is in order.
• Perform HGV vehicle checks.
• Comply with WTD and EU tachograph rules while driving.
• Work Monday to Friday; weekend shifts optional.
• Start around 08:00 days or 18:00 nights.
