Job summary

Resolve Recruitment Services is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for day and night shifts with a leading UK 3PL provider. A minimum of 18 months’ experience, clean UK licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.

You will work across the UK with consistent routes and competitive pay. You’ll perform safety checks, manage records, and liaise with the logistics team while upholding high service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence with minimal or no penalty points.
• Up‑to‑date Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 18 months’ HGV driving experience.
• Experience in general haulage is preferred but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations.
• Ability to work independently with excellent time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport goods across the UK, adhering to planned routes and schedules.
• Carry out thorough pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driving hours, and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding delays or issues.
• Ensure all loads are secure and compliant with legal and industry standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company in a professional manner.
