Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for day or night shifts with our established logistics client in the Birmingham area. You will be responsible for safe deliveries and timely collections.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and tachograph card, with a good understanding of drivers’ hours. A punctual, flexible communicator who can work with site teams will fit well.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence is mandatory.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card required.
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach.
• Clear communication with customers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections safely and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure loads are secure before travelling.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph rules and site procedures.
• Provide a professional service to customers and site teams.
