Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on day or night shifts for our established logistics client.

Responsibilities include completing deliveries and collections safely, performing daily vehicle checks, securing loads and accurate paperwork, while adhering to drivers hours and tachograph rules and site procedures. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• A valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• A good understanding of road safety and drivers hours.
• A reliable, punctual and flexible approach.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections safely and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are secure before travelling.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow drivers hours, tachograph rules and site procedures.
• Provide a professional service to customers and site teams.
