Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a logistics client. The role involves safe delivery and collection, daily vehicle checks, securing loads, accurate paperwork and adherence to drivers’ hours and tachograph rules.

You will provide professional service to customers and site teams. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card, with a strong focus on road safety, reliability and flexible availability.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence is required.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card are required.
• Solid understanding of road safety and drivers’ hours.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach.
• Good communication with customers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections safely and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure loads are secured before travelling.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph rules and site procedures.
• Provide a professional service to customers and site teams.
