Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd. is seeking qualified HGV drivers for UK-wide deliveries on curtain-sided trailers. You will securely strap loads, manage paperwork on a handheld PDA, and stay in touch with the transport team to meet customer expectations.

Nights away are a regular feature, with ongoing training to keep you up to date with industry standards. The role offers an hourly wage with enhanced rates for weekends and night hours, reflecting shift patterns and peak periods.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
• Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.

Rota is flexible and offered on a weekly basis, with drivers contacted in advance to confirm availability. This is a zero/casual hours arrangement to support peak periods, annual leave and unplanned absences.

Salary: Hourly rate of £16.81ph. This includes holiday pay. Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at £21.62ph. You will receive an extra £2.75ph for any hours worked between 21:00pm and 04:00am
