Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Mossend, Scotland is looking for fully qualified LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our busy transport team. You will support UK retailers by delivering goods across Scotland and ensuring on-time arrivals while maintaining accurate paperwork.

With a base salary of £41,717 per year and potential earnings up to £48,563 including shift allowances, the role offers ongoing CPC training, a pension scheme and access to GXO University. Shift pattern is 4 or 5 from 7, on a 48-hour week.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full EU licence with category C+E entitlement.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Must hold Digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 current penalty points on licence
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD.AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Strong communication skills to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to a variety of UK retailers in High Street or Retail Parks across Scotland
• Ensure all documentation is completed and returned accurately at the end of each shift
• Adhere to specific time restrictions given under current legislation
• Support with loading and unloading and make sure empty cages and pallets are returned to the site
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with store staff and following all company policies and procedures
