Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd. is hiring a Class 1 Driver on a zero-hour, casual basis for shifts around Cullompton, Devon. The role involves AdBlue collection/delivery, following set rotas, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining safety checks.

Applicants must hold UK Class 1 CE Licence, DCPC, and Tachograph cards, with training provided for tanker work. Nights away may be required. Rota is flexible and coordinated weekly; overtime is available and various benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience with tankers is advantageous but full training will be given.
• Excellent organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Confident, polite and a team player.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the local area.
• Hardworking and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the collection and delivery of AdBlue.
• Working to set delivery rotas, ensuring timely and efficient completion of all scheduled drops and collections.
• Engaging with customers in person and by phone, delivering high-standard customer service.
• Carrying out comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone.
• Navigating rural driving conditions as required.
• Occasional regular tramping duties, spending nights away from home in the vehicle.
• Remaining flexible to changing schedules, routes and operational needs.
• Participating in ongoing training on industry standards and compliance.
