Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Leeds is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for Sainsbury's in Leeds. This permanent, full-time role offers 42.75 hours per week with an Any 4 and 5 days out of 7 shift pattern, night shift options 22:00-00:45 or day 04:00-06:45.

Hourly rate £19.79 with a night premium of £3.53 per hour on eligible hours, plus 28 days leave, Hapi App discounts, cycle-to-work and progression opportunities. You will deliver to stores, operate refrigerated trailers, and handle paperwork.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the last 5 years.
• Knowledge of the South England road network.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer stores and collect goods from suppliers accurately and on time.
• Operate refrigerated trailers safely, keeping correct temperatures.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
• Be compliant with Driver hours, Tachograph, Working Time and Road Traffic Act regulations.

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver and r eady to hit the road with a leading logistics operation?

We are looking for Class 1 Drivers to join the GXO team at Sainsbury's in Leeds with both day and night shift options available.

This is a permanent, full time role.

You will be contracted to work 42.75 hours per week on the shift pattern of Any 4 and 5 days out of 7.

We have availability to start on a night shift between 22:00- 00:45 or on the day shift betweenn 04:00- 06:45.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Deliver products to customer’s stores and collect goods from suppliers accurately, in a timely and professional manner
• Operate refrigerated trailers in a safe, legal, and efficient manner ensuring correct temperature settings
• Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time
• Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Knowledge of South England road network
