Job description

Driver Support Services has the opportunity for Class 1 work with our client in Northampton during their peak period. The client is a major parcel delivery network.

The work is temporary and ongoing.

Must be fully flexible as shifts include days and nights, weekdays and weekends, trunking work with cages. Flexibility with start times and days will increase the number of shifts available to you.

Minimum 2 years of recent Class 1 experience, with a valid digi card.

Infringements will be checked before assessment. Having more than 10 infringements in 12 months, or more than 3 for rest or drivers hours, will disqualify you from assessment.

No more than 3 points for speeding convictions.

An assessment will be arranged, and a DBS check is required, which will be organized for you.

Your shifts will be communicated via an online platform called Joined Up.

The work involves trunking between depots with cages, which will need to be unloaded and sometimes loaded.

Umbrella rates: Class 1 days £24.50/hr, nights £26.50/hr
