Job summary

Pertemps are seeking an experienced HGV Driver to join our client's busy Warrington depot. You will operate Class 1 (C+E) trailers, loading and delivering safely with a focus on reliability and safety, across a 24-hour operation.

We offer regular ongoing work with PAYE rates of £21.44–£24.57 per hour, flexible start times and weekend shifts. A valid C+E licence, CPC and tachograph card are required, with at least 2 years of Class 1 experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience, with recent Class 1 work within the last 6 months.
• Valid C+E licence, CPC card and digital tachograph card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Safely loading and unloading cages of letters and parcels.
• Working with single and double-deck trailers, with some pushing and pulling involved.
• Average 10–12 hour shifts.
• Various start times as this is a 24-hour operation.
• Weekend work is required for this role.
