The role offers flexible patterns across seven days (weekend work, 4 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off etc.). A minimum of 2 years HGV Class 1 experience and up to 6 points are required. PAYE option available, rates £15–£18 per hour depending on day.

Job description

Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruiting for ongoing HGV Class 1 Day Drivers for our well known client based in the Tamworth area.

Start times will be between 04:00-08:00 each morning and will involve making deliveries to depots on either a curtain sider or a box trailer. This is simple trunking work and requires no handball.

The company operate as a seven day operation so can accommodate any shift pattern and rota, ideal for a driver looking for flexibility in their working life. The company can take drivers who want weekend work, Monday-Friday, 4 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off etc. Any shift pattern you are looking to work, this company can accommodate it.

You will need to have a minimum of 2 years HGV Class 1 experience and no more than 6 points on your licence for minor driving offences. Rates of pay for this role are below and based on you having your holiday pay including as part of your hourly rate:

• Monday- Friday- £15
• Saturday- £17
• Sunday- £18

We can also offer this role as PAYE though the rate will vary from the above.
