Job summary

GXO Logistics, Swindon is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to deliver groceries for Iceland Foods. You will work an average of 48 hours per week on a rolling two‑week rota with multiple shift options, including night windows and lock ’n’ drop duties.

The role offers a competitive annual salary (£49,571.84) with additional earnings potential (£53,500 OTE) and a strong benefits package across pension, training, and on‑site facilities.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C&E entitlement.
• Less than six points on licence and no disqualifying endorsements.
• Extensive track record as a Class 1 driver.

• Operate Class 1 articulated refrigerated and curtainside trailers.
• Assist in loading/unloading, and return empty cages/pallets to site.

Working with our customer, Iceland Foods, you will work an average of 48 hours per week on an “any 5 days from 7” shift pattern. There are three shift options available, operating on a rolling two‑week rota:

• Midnight to 04:00am or 04:00 to 08:00am
• Lock ’n’ Drop shifts, on a two‑week rolling basis, with start times between 16:00 and 21:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient products to Iceland stores on a multi-drop basis
• Operate a fleet of Class 1 articulated refrigerated and curtainside trailers
• Assist in the loading and unloading of cages and pallets
• Collect empty cages and pallets and return them to the site

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement)
• Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
• An extensive track record as a Class 1 driver with practical experience
