Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 Driver in Swindon for curtain sider store deliveries with 1–2 drops daily. AM starts, Monday to Friday, with ongoing shifts on a rota. Applicants must have a Class 1 licence, 2 years of commercial driving experience, UK DCPC, and a Digi-tacho card.

Residency in the UK is required; visa assistance is not provided. Benefits include immediate starts, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and site induction. Armoured to military veterans is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence held.
• 2 years driving experience in commercial driving.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• No DD/TT/DR/CD/IN endorsements.
• UK resident (Visa not supported).

Responsibilities

• Deliver store deliveries from service yards with 1/2 drops per day.
• Open/close curtains on Curtain Sider vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and complete paperwork.
• Travel to and from the Swindon site for each shift.

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience in commercial driving. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
