Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers for depots in Ipswich and Snetterton. The role involves trunking runs between depots with PM start times. Drivers will be responsible for daily vehicle inspections, trailer swaps, and adhering to safety and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct daily pre- and post-vehicle inspections to ensure HGV roadworthiness.
2. Perform trunking from depot to depot, including trailer swaps at operating centres.
3. Follow correct procedures and operating systems.
4. Maintain high standards of driving and road safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Cat CE (6 months provable experience).
• Current UK Licence, Digi card, and CPC DQC card.
• Right to live and work in the UK (9-digit settlement share code).
• Good communication skills in English (speaking and writing).

Additional Information

Ongoing work is available for drivers with at least 6 months of continuous driving experience (minimum 2 days per week over 6 months). Rates are paid via UmbrellaPAYE, with overtime pay after 8 hours and on weekends/holidays.
