Job summary

GXO Logistics in St Helens is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a full-time, permanent role. You will deliver chilled, frozen and ambient goods to Co-op stores, operate vehicles safely, complete paperwork on time and comply with hours and tachograph regulations.

The role offers a 40-hour week, shift pattern Fri–Mon with 04:00–07:00 starts, plus benefits including pension, dental insurance, 24/7 GP service and access to GXO University.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years.
• Experience driving C+E vehicles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient goods to Co-op stores.
• Operate vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
• Complete all paperwork fully, accurately and on time.
• Comply with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations.

Here at GXO Logistics, a leading name in supply chain solutions, we are currently looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to become a part of our growing team in St Helens for our customer, UK supermarket chain and one of the largest food retailers, Co-op.

You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week on the shift pattern of Friday – Monday with the start time window of 04:00 – 07:00.
