Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers for a full-time, permanent role based at Stanford Le Hope (London Gateway). The position operates on a 5 on 3 off pattern with shifts from 17:00 to 21:00, totaling up to 48 hours per week.

Salary starts at £43,357.89 per year with 26 days annual leave, a company pension, GP service, life assurance and access to GXO University and MyBenefits discounts.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 penalty points; clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take the wheel of single and double deck vehicles and deliver to UK retail stores.
• Complete 2–3 deliveries per shift with palletised and free-standing goods.
• Ensure products arrive safely and record delivery and compliance details.
• Represent GXO with professionalism, operating vehicles safely and legally.

Here at GXO Stanford Le Hope (London Gateway), we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our dedicated Currys transport team. Every day, you will play a vital role in keeping one of the UK's largest retailers stocked and moving, helping products reach stores and customers nationwide.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a '5 on 3 off' pattern, with start time of 17:00 to 21:00, contracted to 48 hours per week.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Take the wheel of single and double deck vehicles, delivering products to retail stores across the UK, helping keep one of the nation's largest electrical retail supply chains moving
• Complete 2 to 3 deliveries per shift, transporting a mixture of palletised and free-standing goods while enjoying a varied day on the road
• Play a key role in ensuring products arrive safely, unloading goods at each destination with support provided for two-person lifts where required
• Represent the company with professionalism and pride, operating vehicles safely, legally and efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery and compliance records

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
• Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is essential
