Job Description

The role is based at the Rugby Truck Stop on Watling Street and involves delivering and collecting to RDCs for non-refrigerated baked goods, along with general haulage for customers such as Cemex, CGE, and Britvic. Responsibilities include manual handling, drop and swaps, and trunking.

Shifts: Days and Nights available

Various shifts are available, including days and nights. All shift patterns can be considered.

Salary: from £42,304 per annum, depending on shift and start times, based on an average of 54 to 64 hours per week for Trampers.

• Mon-Fri Days - £15.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £16.30/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)
• Bank Holidays - £18.81/hour (including meal allowance and tier payment)

Qualifications

• At least 6 months Class 1 experience
• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card
• No more than 6 points on your Licence, with no DD/DR Code convictions
• Understanding of and compliance with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
• Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements
