Job Description

The role is based at the Rugby Truck Stop on Watling Street and involves delivering and collecting to RDCs for non-refrigerated baked goods, along with general haulage for customers such as Cemex, CGE, and Britvic. This role may include manual handling, drop and swaps, and general trunking.

Shifts: Days and Nights available:

• Various shifts including Days and Nights — All shift patterns considered.

Basic salary from £42,304 per annum, depending on shift and start times, based on an average of 54 to 64 hours per week for Trampers.

• Mon-Fri Days - £15.00/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
• Mon-Fri Night Shift - £16.30/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
• Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
• Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).
• Bank Holidays - £18.81/hour (including Meal allowance and Tier Payment).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience required.
• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC, and Tacho Card needed.
• No more than 6 points on your Licence, with no DD/DR convictions.
• Understanding and compliance with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Ability to perform vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure vehicle safety.
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
