Job summary

FORDE RECRUITMENT LIMITED is recruiting Class 1 HIAB drivers to work on behalf of a leading Logistics Company. Base at Barnsley with nationwide RDC deliveries and ongoing shifts, paid holidays, and weekly pay. Role requires operating a HIAB crane, performing safety checks, and completing transport admin while maintaining fuel-efficient driving.

Immediate starts available. Roles offer competitive PAYE rates (£19.00/hr Mon-Fri, £25/night out) and opportunities for permanent placement over time,

Qualifications

• Full HGV C+E driving licence.
• Minimum of 24 months' driving experience.
• Good level of English speaking and written communication.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence; certain endorsements will not be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nationwide to RDCs.
• Load and offload goods using the mounted crane.
• Complete pre- and post-vehicle checks.
• Carry out transport administration as required.

Job description

Our client, a leading Logistics Company are currently looking to recruit a number of Class 1 HIAB drivers to work on their behalf.

Based out of their flagship Barnsley site you will be responsible for delivering nationwide to RDCs.

Class 1 HIAB Job Description:

As a Class 1 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for safe and efficient product transportation across the country. Key duties include completing necessary transport administration, driving in a fuel-efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all EU Driver Hours and RTD Regulations, Adhering to safe systems of work, and conducting pre and post vehicle checks in addition to assisting in the loading and offloading goods using the mounted crane.

Class 1 HIAB Rates (PAYE)

Monday - Friday 0700 start - £19.00 per hour

£25 per Night Out

Requirements:

• Hold a full HGV C+E driving licence.
• Possess a minimum of 24 months' driving experience for Driver Negligible Incident (DNI).
• Demonstrate a good level of English speaking and written communication skills.
• Have a maximum of 6 points on your licence for minor offenses (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements will not be accepted).
• Possess a UK Driving Licence, Digi Tachograph Card, and CPC Card.
