Job summary

Kenect Recruitment in Greater London is seeking a Class 2 Driver for a waste management company. The role runs Monday to Friday 0630 - 1500, with overtime paid on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

You will assist with collections and recycling work as part of a team, handling material collection, sorting for contamination, and following a scheduled route to stay on time.

Qualifications

• Must have valid tachograph and CPC card.
• At least 1 year experience preferably in waste management sector.

Responsibilities

• Material Collection – Emptying designated recycling bins into the collection vehicle.
• Sorting & Quality Control – Checking for contamination and ensuring correct materials go into the right compartments.
• Route Efficiency – Working as part of a team to follow a scheduled pick-up route, keeping to time while maintaining thoroughness.
• DRIVERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO ASSIST WITH THE COLLECTIONS AND WILL ALSO BE RECYCLING AND GENERAL WASTE COLLECTIONS.

Job description

Salary: GBP17 - GBP34 per hour

*** CLASS 2 DRIVER REQUIRED FOR A WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANY ***

Monday to Friday 0630 - 1500
