Job summary

Adapt Logistics is seeking professional Class 1 drivers for Haydock to deliver and collect goods with curtainsiders. The role involves moving palletised items and operating a PPT, with varied daily routes and approx 10-hour shifts.

Both day and night shifts are available to suit the driver’s preference. Requirements include a valid C&E licence with at least 6 months in C&E work, DCPC, and knowledge of EU driver hours and WTR rules.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence with a minimum of 6 months in C&E work.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• DCPC (Driver CPC) card.
• Good knowledge of EU Driver hours and Working Time Rules (WTR).
• Able to work well with store personnel.
• Health & Safety awareness.

CLASS 1 HAYDOCK

Our client is looking for professional drivers to deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer. Moving palletised goods (will need to operate a PPT). They work with many well-known retailers and brands that you will be familiar with. This job can offer a variety to each day with different routes, type of deliveries. Approx 10 hour shifts

Day & Night Work available

£16.50 or £18.49 inc hol pay M-F Days

£17.50 or £19.61 inc hol pay M-F Night

£18.50 or £20.73 inc hol pay Sat

£20.00 or £22.41 inc hol pay Sun / BHol

Here is what the clients' criteria is to work here:

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a min of 6 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence card
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Enjoy working with people at the stores
• Health & Safety awareness

Our drivers can expect Hourly PAYE rates and have the option to accrue holiday pay within their hourly rate or build a holiday pot to be paid when they are on holiday.
