Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for roles around Welham Green. Shifts include AM and PM on fixed patterns with manual work. A minimum of one year of HGV driving experience is required, with full training and on-site driving assessment provided.

Responsibilities include store delivery/cross docking, inter-depot trunking, port container collections, and completing all delivery paperwork. Pay rates are published for AM and PM shifts, with on-site checks and safety processes

• Completion of all delivery paperwork from client to store.

Our well established client, based in Welham Green, requires Category C & E(HGV Class 1Drivers) to help its busy operational distribution centre. AM shifts and PM shifts areavailable on fixed shifts. Some manual work involved. Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience required. Full training provided and written and driving assessment would need to be taken on site.

Class 1 Driver Main duties will include:

• Store delivery or cross docking
• Store Delivery in the South East and greater London

Class 1 Driver Shifts:

Shift patterns will be: Friday to Monday

Various adhoc shifts available sometimes

AM Days various start times Between 05:00am to 19:00

PM Night shifts start timesBetween 19:00 to 05:00am

Class 1 Driver Pay Rates:

• Any shift AM 05:00am to 19:00pm - PAYE£21.40per hour
• Anyshift PM 19:00pm to 05:00am - PAYE£25.35per hour
