Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join a leading distribution centre in Tilbury. This is long-term, full-time trunking work with a 5 on/3 off rolling rota, PM shifts starting between 17:00 and 19:00, and competitive rates of pay.

You will perform RDC to RDC trunking with no manual unloading, complete daily vehicle checks, and represent the client professionally while enjoying weekly pay and stable hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/DR convictions.

Interaction Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join a leading distribution centre based in Tilbury. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for long-term, reliable work with a structured shift pattern and competitive rates of pay.

The Role

• RDC to RDC trunking deliveries
• No handball or manual unloading
• Modern, well-maintained fleet
• Ongoing, full-time work
• Average shifts of 10–12 hours
• Supportive transport team and efficient operations
• Adhering to all Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting
• Delivering a professional service while representing the client

Shift Pattern

• 5 On / 3 Off rolling rota
• PM shifts only
• Start times between 17:00 and 19:00
• Flexible 3-hour start window
• Regular, consistent shifts every week

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Days: £17.75per hour
• Monday to Friday nights £19.93ph
• Saturday: £20.13 per hour
• Sunday: £21.13 per hour

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD or DR convictions
• A good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• The ability to complete vehicle checks accurately and safely
• A reliable, professional attitude with excellent communication skills
• Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred
