Job summary

Savanna Staff Solutions are seeking multiple Class 1 Drivers to support the UK postal service, driving their Big Red Trucks at Heathrow, Greenford, Park Royal, Woking, Hounslow and more.

To be considered you must have a UK work entitlement, a 2+ year driving licence, a CPC Digi card with manual entry knowledge, and good English. Duties include transport of mail to depots, possible offloads, trailer swaps and stand-by driving.

Qualifications

• UK/IRE driving licence held for minimum 2 years.
• CPC/Digi card with knowledge on manual entry.
• Road experience and ability to pass a driving assessment with a blind reverse.
• Good English to communicate with transport offices in English.

Responsibilities

• Transport of Mail on Cages (York’s) to mail depots round the UK.
• Possible offloading of yorks on loading bays.
• Possible trailer swaps.
• Possible stand by driver.

Savanna Staff Solutions are proudly supplying Class 1 Drivers in support of the most Well-known Postal service in the world, driving their Big Red Trucks.

We need multiple Class 1 Drivers for different sites Heathrow, Greenford, Park Royal, Woking, Hounslow and more!

Your Daily Class 1 Driver Duties Will Include

• Transport of Mail on Cages (York’s) to various mail depots round the UK
• Possible offloading of yorks on loading bays
• Possible trailer swaps
• Possible stand by driver

Role

To be considered for this Class 1 Driver role, you must be in the UK and have right to live and work in the UK before applying. You must also have the following attributes:

• Current UK/Ireland Driving Licence held for minimum 2 years (Insurance purposes)
• Current CPC card Digi card with the knowledge on manual entry
• Experience on the road and be able to pass a driving assessment with a blind reverse
• Have Good English to communicate to transport offices in English
