Job Description

Eddie Stobart is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team in Goole.

The role is based at a Tesco site in Goole and involves stores, RDCs, warehouse deliveries, and general haulage work. You will be using a variety of Tesco and ESL kit. The role may involve manual handling, drop and swaps, and trunking.

Shifts:

• Sunday-Thursday nights, 15:00-23:00 start times.
• Tuesday-Saturday nights, 15:00-23:00 start times.
• Monday-Friday nights, 15:00-23:00 start times.
• Day shifts Monday-Friday: £14.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).
• Night shifts Monday-Friday: £15.40/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).
• Day shifts Saturday and Sunday: £17.50/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).
• Night shifts Saturday and Sunday: £18.00/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).
• Bank holidays: £18.31/hour (including meal allowance and tier payments).

Qualifications:

• Valid C+E licence, CPC, and Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD/DR code convictions.
• Understanding and compliance with driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects.
• Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements.
