Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking part-time Class 1 drivers in Fareham to support a leading UK parcel distributor. Trunking routes run from the Southampton depot to Hatfield and back, with weekly pay and immediate starts.

The role demands a Class 1 licence with 12 months of experience, and valid UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards. Shifts are Mon-Fri with extra hours on Sundays; up to 6 points may be considered on licence.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence and at least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Cannot accept certain endorsements (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN).

Responsibilities

• Trunking from Southampton to Hatfield and back.

Pay Rate: £22.22 to £44.44 p/h

Shifts: Monday to Friday work - additional hours on a Sunday available

• Trunking from Southampton to Hatfield and back

• Drivers will be able to work independently as this is a small client site

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and be able to monitor and keep your working hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
