The Best Connection in Lockerbie area is seeking Class 1 (C+E) drivers for multiple vacancies. Flexibility with shifts, including long shifts starting from early morning, is available to suit various lifestyles.

Earning potential starts at £14.20 per hour with full training provided, and opportunity for temp-to-perm positions for the right candidates. Roles include trunking, milk tanker deliveries, and general haulage across a modern fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence (no major endorsements).
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
• No tanker experience required; full training provided.

Available Working Patterns

• Ad hoc / casual shifts
• 5 on, 3 off
• 4 on, 4 off
• Potential temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidates

The Role

• Trunking work
• Milk tanker deliveries to dairy processing sites
• General haulage
• Palletised deliveries
• £14.20 per hour

Drivers can expect a mixture of routes and duties, providing a diverse and engaging workload.

Shift Information

• Start times available from 02:00 onward
• Average 10-hour shifts
• Various shift patterns available

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 points on licence (no major endorsements)
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Professional and reliable approach to work

No previous tanker experience or ADR required. Full training will be provided.
