Job summary

Gist Limited, part of the M&S Group, is hiring experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our Crewe team for store deliveries and a modern fleet. This weekend-inclusive role requires 18 months' Class 1 driving, a valid C+E licence and CPC, with shifts across Fri–Mon and other patterns.

You'll enjoy regular hours, a supportive transport office, on-site parking and benefits as part of the M&S family.

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.

Responsibilities

• Completing planned deliveries to M&S stores.

• Keeping in touch with our transport team throughout your shift.
• Representing Gist and M&S professionally on the road and at stores.

Please note: this is a weekend-inclusive role. All available shift patterns require you to work every Saturday and Sunday as part of your regular working week

The role at a glance

• Pay: £19.09 per hour weekdays


• Pay: £22.90 per hour Sat and Sun (Days) - £24.81 (Nights)


• Location:Crewe


• Experience: Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience

We currently have opportunities across the following working patterns:

Fri - Mon AM ( start time between 0100-0400 )

Sat - Wed AM ( start time between 0100-0400)

Thurs - Mon EV ( start time between 1300-1600)

Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.

What you'll be doing

Store Deliveries

As one of our Class 1 Drivers, you'll play an important role in keeping M&S moving.

You'll be completing store deliveries, making sure products arrive safely, efficiently and on time while providing a professional service at every location.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Completing planned deliveries to M&S stores


• Carrying out vehicle and safety checks


• Working safely and efficiently to planned schedules


• Keeping in touch with our transport team throughout your shift


• Representing Gist and M&S professionally on the road and at stores

What we're looking for

You'll need:

• A validClass 1 (C+E) licence


• Aminimum of 18 months' Class 1 driving experience


• Valid Driver CPC


• A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards


• A professional and safety-focused approach


• A reliable, team-focused attitude


• Confidence with manual handling where required
