Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment seeks a Class 1 Driver (Cage work and store deliveries) for shifts in Warrington. You will drive a Class 1 vehicle, perform trunking and cage deliveries, and handle cages on site. Training and an assessment are provided before allocation.

Essential requirements include a Class 1 (C+E) licence, 3 months’ experience, UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards, and compliance with WTD regulations. Immediate starts available with rolling rota and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence and at least 3 months' experience.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• No DD/TT/DR/CD/IN endorsements accepted on licence.
• Professional driver up-to-date with WTD regulations.

Pay Rate: £220to £260per day

Hours: Any 4 from 7 shifts (rolling rota) (additional 5th shifts available)

Licence: Class 1 (C+E) - essential

Experience: 3months Class 1 experience - essential

Role & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle
• Trunking & Cage deliveries
  • You will be required to handle cages on site

Training will be provided and drivers will be required to complete an assessment before work can be allocated.

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 3months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
