Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Chepstow is seeking Class 1 Drivers for an exciting opportunity. You will transport pressed glass primarily to Yorkshire, with a competitive salary ranging from £17.00 to £20.00 per hour and immediate starts available. Candidates must have a Class 1 Driving Licence, a UK DCPC card, and a valid Digi-tacho card. Opportunities for both PAYE and LTD Company Drivers are available.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in commercial driving required.
• Up to 6 points on licence accepted, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• UK residency is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Transporting pressed glass to Yorkshire.
• Predominantly trunking with curtain side trailers.

Due to the loads you are carrying, you must be a steady driver. You will be asked to complete a theory test and a full driver assessment.

About you

• You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving.
• You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
• You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
