Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment Ltd in Luton is seeking Class 1 Drivers to support a client delivering specialist supply chain solutions across the UK, with emphasis on retail and foodservice sectors.

You will perform trunking and container work, store deliveries, and adhere to vehicle checks and WTD regulations. Immediate starts and a temp-to-perm path after 12 weeks are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• UK Driver CPC (DCPC) required and Digi-tacho card up to date.

Job Title: Class 1 Driver (Trunking and Container work)

Location: Luton

Pay rate: £18.75 to £25.00 p/h

Shifts: Monday to Sunday on Nights (10/12 hour shifts - minimum 8 hours paid)

Drivers: PAYE

Opportunity: Temp to Perm (after 12 weeks)

You must have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements. You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
