Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment Ltd in Cannock is seeking Class 1 drivers for Curtainside trunking work. You will operate across the supply chain, complete transport paperwork, and perform standard vehicle checks.

You must hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence, UK DCPC, Digi-tacho, and have at least 12 months driving experience. Endorsements restricted to none DD, TT, DR, CD, IN; WTD compliant. Visa not provided.

Shifts include days and nights with weekly pay and a clear progression.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 (C+E) licence with up to 6 points.
• Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Must be up to date with WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 HGV vehicle.
• Trunking work in a Curtain sider.
• Completing Transport paperwork.
• Conducting industry standard vehicle checks.

Pay Rate: £19.00 to £25.00 p/h

Benefits: £5 tax-free meal allowance per shift

Hours: Monday to Sunday - Days & Nights available

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
