Job summary

Adapt Logistics is seeking Class 1 HGV drivers for store deliveries across the UK on behalf of Omega in Warrington. Various start times with days and nights shifts and pay rates including holiday pay.

The role requires a C+E licence with up to 12 months experience, a valid DCPC, and knowledge of EU Driver hours. Training is provided; assessments are conducted weekly with the client.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C&E) driving licence with a minimum of 12 months experience.
• DCPC valid card required for professional competence.
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to stores across the UK network.
• Use tail lifts to move roll cages from trailer to store and self-tip.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and customer service standards.

Class 1 HGV Drivers Days and Nights - Store Deliveries (Cat C+E) Omega, Warrington

• PAYE HOURLY RATES
• Days £22.65 / £25.38 (with holiday pay including)
• Nights £26.75 / £30.20 (with holiday pay including)
• VARIOUS START TIMES 24/7 AVAILABLE

Having worked with this client for over 15 years, we are proud to partner with them to supply agency drivers directly. Our client is looking for professional drivers to deliver to their stores across their UK network. Experience in retail / multidrop would be advantageous but not essential, as they provide full training. Drivers will use tail lifts to move roll cages from the trailer to store and will self-tip.

Assessment Details

We have assessments weekly with the client.

• Hold a valid C&E Driving licence (with a minimum of 12 months in C&E work)
• No more than 6 minor points on Driving licence
• DCPC Valid card for Driver Certificate of professional competence
• Good working knowledge of EU Driver hours and WTR rules
• Enjoy working with people at the stores
• Health & Safety awareness
• Minimal infringements on your Tachograph card
