Job Talent is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for a leading UK logistics company in Chesterfield. Peak uplifts up to £7 per hour bring earnings to £29.31 per hour in November and December.

The site runs 24/7 with flexible start times and varied shift patterns, offering ongoing work and higher earnings during peak periods. Essential requirements include a full UK licence (C+E), a valid tachograph card, CPC, and at least 12 months’ Class 1 experience, with no more than 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence (C+E) held for UK driving duties.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points (DR, DD, IN, TT not accepted).

Responsabilités

• Trunking and RDC deliveries across the UK road network.
• Operate refrigerated units.
• Carry out pre- and post-vehicle safety checks.
• Complete PODs and delivery paperwork.

With peak uplifts of up to £7 per hour, drivers can earn up to £29.31 per hour throughout November and December. Rates & Working Conditions

• £20.33 - £25.31 per hour with £3 peak uplift
• £22.33 - £27.31 per hour with £5 peak uplift
• £24.33 - £29.31 per hour with £7 peak uplift
• Standard rates £17.33 - £22.31 per hour depending on shift
• Increased peak rates paid throughout November and December
• 24/7 operation, 7 days a week
• Flexible start times and shift patterns available
• Ongoing work available

The Role

• Trunking, and RDC deliveries across the UK road network
• Operating refrigerated units
• Pre- and post-vehicle safety checks
• Completing PODs, and delivery paperwork
• No interaction with the load

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence (Category C+E)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Current Driver CPC qualification
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 experience
• No more than 6 penalty points (DR, DD, IN, and TT endorsements not accepted)

Desirable Skills

• Experience with RDC, trunking, and store deliveries
• Strong knowledge of UK roads and distribution centres
• Reliable, punctual, and customer focused
