Job summary

Ideal Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver for a well-established client based in Liverpool. This full-time role offers guaranteed shifts and consistent work across the UK, with an average of 34 drops per shift and palletised loading/unloading.

Pay rates are PAYE, with weekday and weekend rates, overtime after 45 hours, and a daily tax-free meal allowance. Valid CPC, Tachograph card, and clean licence required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only).
• Assessment required before starting.

• Experience with refrigerated units preferred.

PAYE Pay Rates:

• Monday-Friday £19.94 inc holiday
• Weekend £22.63 inc holiday
• Overtime after 45 hours and if more then 9 hour in a day
• Monday to Friday overtime £24.94 with hol
• Weekend overtime £28.30 with hol
• Plus £10.00 tax free meal allowance per day

Requirements:

• Assessment required before starting.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
