Job summary

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing curtain-side trunking based in Coventry. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available.

This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, paid breaks, and opportunities for block bookings and full-time positions. You’ll be completing curtain-side deliveries and trunking work, typically 1–3 drops per shift , with forklift-assisted unloading.

Qualifications

• Holds a HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence for at least 2 years.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions).
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Physically fit and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Complete curtain-side deliveries and trunking work with forklift-assisted unloading.
• Typically 1–3 drops per shift, shifts 10–12 hours with 8 hours paid.
• Work Monday to Friday with additional weekend work and potential full-time positions.

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing curtain-side trunking based in Coventry. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available. Pay Rates (PAYE)Monday – Fri

AM – £17.86ph plus holiday pay weekly Monday to Friday

PM – £19.05ph plus holiday pay weekly

Overtime (after 9 hours)

What the role involves:

You’ll be completing curtain-side deliveries and trunking work, typically 1–3 drops per shift , with forklift-assisted unloading. Shifts are typically 10–12 hours , with 8 hours guaranteed pay , including paid breaks.You’ll be working Monday to Friday with additional weekend work available. A paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.Start time AM - 02:00 - 05:00 AMStart time PM – 16:00 – 20:00 PM
