Job Overview

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting experiencedHGV Class 1 (C+E)drivers for full-time, ongoing work based inNewton-le-Willows. You’ll be responsible for delivering goods nationwide while ensuring all legal and safety regulations are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete timely and professional deliveries and collections across the UK.
• Secure all loads safely and follow strapping procedures.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delays or issues.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.

Requirements

• ValidLGV C+E licencewith a currentCPCandDigi Tacho card.
• Minimum 2 years’ UK Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of EU drivers’ hours and regulations.
• No more than6 pointson licence andno major endorsements(e.g., DR10, IN10, TT99, CD10, CU80).
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude and professional approach.
