Job summary

Gi Group are seeking experienced Class 1 drivers for trunking work in Bicester, with afternoons and nights shifts. 10-hour shifts from 13:00 to 23:00, 2–3 drops per shift and cages to manage. You must hold in-date UK Class 1 (C+E), tachograph and CPC, with no more than six points and at least one year of experience.

PAYE rates are shown with enhanced overtime after 8 hours. GI Group offer a benefits package from day one and ongoing support during placement.

Qualifications

• Class 1 licence required (UK, C+E).
• In-date tachograph card and CPC.
• No more than 6 points on licence (no DD/DR/IN/MS/TT/CU).
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
• Be able and willing to provide work history and references.
• Willing to download tachograph before starting and attend assessment.

Responsibilities

• Trunking work with 2–3 drops per shift.
• Handle cages as required by client operations.
• Shift pattern 13:00–23:00; afternoons and nights, 7 days a week available.

Gi Group are looking for experienced Class 1 drivers in Bicester, for trunking work, afternoons/nights only

Class 1 pay rate

• Monday to Friday nights £20.34 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)
• Saturday nights £26.35 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)
• Sunday nights £29.41 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)
• OT paid after 8hrs £28.29 inc holiday

Shift patterns

• 13:00-23:00 starts available
• Shifts available all week

Class 1 role

• Trunking
• 2-3 drops per shift
• Cages

Class 1 requirements

• In date, UK , class 1 (C+E) licence, in date tacho and in date cpc card
• No more than 6 points on licence (no DD/DR/IN/MS/TT/CU please)
• 1 years' experience as a minimum
• Be able and willing to provide work history and references
• Driver must be willing to download tacho before starting, and to attend an assessment
